Just wanted to say thanks again for the board- it truly is awesome! Here are a few pictures from my New Zealand trip. It has been performing great here at home w/ the south swells coming into the points here in north LA- you were right, it is a point break machine!
It was a bit difficult to pack w/ the glass on fins, but made the trip fine. i think in the future i may order a “traveller” with removable fins but loving this one for now.
how you doing m. zippi?
hope verything is fine.. thanks for my magic carpet.. the best board i ever rode!! here i am cruising on a solid right hand point break in el salvador!! cheers!! if you can post it on your website and facebook would be cool!! keep rocking those boards!! yeeewww
I took this shot of Clark Damron last weekend at Blackies in Newport. Thought you might like to post it on your page.
Still loving my two Zippi Fish!
This is a 5’9” redline. My third board from you, all 5’9”s. This board works well in all sizes of waves, and gets into waves easily. The fastest board I’ve ever surfed on, and with all that speed surfing point waves is amazing. I only surf point waves so that’s all I can speak about. I’ve been surfing for 46 years and by far these boards have changed my approach. In my 40’s my boards were getting longer and fuller. I thought that was my future. I tried a 5’9” zippi in mexico one year, and there was no turning back. I caught every wave easily and the speed and performance was better than any board I’ve ever ridden. I’m almost 60 and riding a 5’9”, my ability is average, but your boards have given me the abilty to go short and my stoke has been elevated to a new level.
Thank you so much,
